MySQL Version

Problem:

What version of MySQL are you running?

Solution:

The current version can be viewed in the cPanel on left side. Alternately, you can view which version the server has with the following Telnet command from either Window's DOS prompt or a terminal on Mac or Linux, It will print out the current version
 telnet example.com 3306
