Verifying Your Account Purchase

Problem:

How can I verify the purchase of my HostMonster account?

Summary

For security purposes an account must complete the verification process before full access is granted on an account.

If you live within the US and Canada

You can reach our verification department by phone between 7AM - 9PM (MST) Monday - Friday, 8AM - 9PM Saturday (MST) (866) 573-4678 choose option 5. Please have either the last four characters of your hosting password or the last four digits of your credit card available. Keep in mind that phone verification requires that you call in from a number on file or from a number you would like us to add to your contact list.

If you used PayPal

If the account was signed up through PayPal we ask for confirmation of the last four characters of the hosting password or seven digit PayPal invoice ID number.

Verifying via email

If you prefer to send us an email, we ask that you submit a copy of the front and back of the credit card that was charged (first 12 numbers and CVV2 code on the back may be blocked out).

You may send the documents via email to support-verification@HostMonster.com

Note: If you do not have access to a scanner you may use a digital camera to take a picture of the ID.

If you live outside of the US or Canada

If you used a Credit Card

For customers located outside the United States and Canada, to prevent you from having to call internationally, we ask that you submit a copy of the front and back of the credit card that was charged (first 12 numbers and CVV2 code on the back may be blocked out).
You may send the documents via email to support-verification@HostMonster.com

Note: If you do not have access to a scanner you may use a digital camera to take a picture of the ID.

If you used PayPal

If the account was signed up through PayPal we ask to receive a copy of the PayPal holder's government-issued photo identification card and confirmation of the last four characters of the hosting password or seven digit PayPal invoice ID number.
