How To Update Your Credit Card
The most recent credit card used to pay for the account is automatically saved as the default payment method for any future purchase or renewal, unless the option to save the credit card has been unchecked during the checkout process. This article will show you how to manually update the default credit card on file.
Please note that HostMonster only accepts Visa, Master Card and American Express and Discover.
To update the credit card on file, log into your HostMonster account and select the Account tab at the top of the screen.
This is where you can view and edit the contact and billing information for the account, including the credit card on file. An updated credit card and an accurate zip/postal code is required in both the Billing Information and Contact Information sections before your changes can be saved. When you are done, click “Update” at the bottom of the screen.
Note: You must be logged in with the main account password to be able to view and update the billing and contact information. If you are asked to log in when selecting the Accounts tab or are otherwise unable to view this page, log out and log back in with the main account password to proceed.
