To help make your site more of what you need or want, you may want to install modules. They vary in what they are for and can do for your site. Some can help with caching your site, others can add dynamics to the site's images or pages. You will want to look for the one that best suits your needs. To find modules for Drupal you will want to go to Drupal - Module Categories and see what is there.
To install a new module you will,
Login to the administrative section of Drupal.
Click on Modules.
On the Modules page click on Install new module.
Upload the module:
If you have the URL of the module you can paste it in the first field.
If you have the file downloaded on your computer, then click choose file and select the file from your computer.
Once it says Installation was completed successfully, click on Enable newly added modules.
The new module will either create its own section on this page or be under one that is already there. You will need to locate it there and enable it by clicking the check box next to the module.
With that done you have now have the module enabled and ready to go.
