Installing and Activating Modules - Drupal

To help make your site more of what you need or want, you may want to install modules. They vary in what they are for and can do for your site. Some can help with caching your site, others can add dynamics to the site's images or pages. You will want to look for the one that best suits your needs. To find modules for Drupal you will want to go to Drupal - Module Categories and see what is there.

    i.e. www.example.com/drupal
  2. Click on Modules.
    Modules link.
  3. On the Modules page click on Install new module.
    Install a new module link.
  4. Upload the module:
    • If you have the URL of the module you can paste it in the first field.
      Example of URL uploading.
    • If you have the file downloaded on your computer, then click choose file and select the file from your computer.

  5. Click Install.
  6. Once it says Installation was completed successfully, click on Enable newly added modules.
